Anthony has over 17 years of public policy and regulatory experience. This includes nearly four years of experience as a rule maker at the Australian Energy Market Commission, and ten years of experience as an economic regulator at the Australian Energy Regulator and Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. Anthony was also previously a research economist at the Productivity Commission and Monash University.

Anthony is a subject matter expert on energy network regulation, and has significant experience implementing incentive-based regulatory frameworks and economic pricing arrangements. Anthony has a long history of delivering major projects and industry reforms, and is a champion for improving consumer engagement in regulatory processes. Anthony is a member of the Energy Consumers Australia Expert Advisory Group.

Anthony has been responsible for developing strategies and policies in response to the transformation of the energy sector, advising on changes to economic regulatory frameworks, and managing stakeholder engagement and relationships. This includes developing major speeches and industry policy submissions, and designing highly collaborative consultation processes to broadly promote change.
